Biking the way to Amirthy

Ooooh !!!! Just can't forget this experience. Amirthy is a forest which is very near to Vellore, TamilNadu [India]. It is some where around 30km from Vellore town. I visited the amazing place when I went to my native place for Dasara holidays. Its an amazing experience to reach this place by bike. We planned it along with our friends and families.

All through the way, we were welcomed with beautiful giant mountains and greenish farmlands. After a pleasant ride with mountains both side the road, we ended up with the forest department welcoming us with their entry tickets. But guys believe me it is worth to buy the tickets. :)

From here you will be put in a forest road, which extends for may be just half or one kilometer. You can find small shops at the end and please wait dont get excited by seeing a river near by. "Its just not a river."

You can very well enter the compounds and you will be surprised to see few animals and birds, which includes peacock, snake, Spotted deer, tortoise etc. But wait, is this all for what you had travelled this long. Certainly not. At the end of this small wild life sanctuary you can find the path way to the top of a small mountain. Hold your breath and climb the mountain. And yes now you can see what you came for. A clean [atleast partially] and beautiful waterfalls.

The sparkling waterfalls with the light brown colored mountain will be good sight. Tough it is bit difficult to climb that mountain its worth to do some hard work. You can have a very beautiful sight of the falls and mountains. And now what are you waiting far just take a bath in the chilled water from the water falls.
